bespoke originals, luxury stationery production, event creative, and mural painting.
BEHIND HOLLY ALICE STUDIO
Originally from the Nottinghamshire countryside, my artistic inspirations formed from an eclectic mix of my love for nature & animals, a fascination with sentimental treasures, and a love for the creative arts..
My journey hasn’t been linear - a sketchbook of squiggly doodles is how I would describe it. I am not an artist that threw out the rulebook and followed my passion straight out of university. I stuck to the rulebook, and a decade later I decided I needed to create once again.
WHAT WOULD ALICE DO?
They say talent runs in the family… well I take after my Grandma Alice, from whom I inherited my love of crafting, textiles, sewing and singing.
My revived artistic journey began in 2020. Like for many, it was a time of inner reflection and I found myself asking, “what would Alice do?”. Well, she would tell me to not waste my talents. And so, Holly Alice Studio was born.
I studied art and textiles academically, beginning with an Art Foundation Diploma which led to my university degree, Fashion Design and Technology. I graduated from Hollings Faculty, Manchester, in 2016. However, a creative career was too risky, so I have spent the first years of my career in corporate London – and I cannot be prouder for my achievements. Like many creatives, you get an itch... So here I am, pursuing a more creative path, because I am only going to regret it if I don’t!
